SERVICES

Our Speciality

Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)

AKI is a rapid decline in kidney function due to diverse insults (prerenal, intrinsic, postrenal). Focus on early recognition, risk stratification, fluid management, nephrotoxic avoidance, and timely nephrology consultation.

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD)

CKD encompasses gradual loss of kidney function with stages 1–5. Emphasize risk factor modification, blood pressure and glycemic control, renin-angiotensin system blockade, and progression prevention.

Dialysis (Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis)

Covers modalities, access planning (AV fistula, graft, PD catheter), dialysis adequacy, and complications. Include patient education on lifestyle and vascular access care.

Hypertension and Kidney Disease

Hypertension as both cause and consequence of kidney disease. Highlight BP targets, pharmacotherapy (ACE inhibitors/ARBs), and home monitoring.

Glomerular Diseases

Includes diseases such as IgA nephropathy, membranous nephropathy, minimal change disease, and vasculitides; focus on diagnosis, biopsy interpretation, and targeted therapies.

Electrolyte and Acid-Base Disorders

Common derangements (hyperkalemia, hypokalemia, hyperphosphatemia, acidosis) and their management in CKD, AKI, and dialysis patients.
